About

The trainer behind the academy.

Acadia Canine Academy was built on one principle: dogs learn best when their handlers are consistent, clear, and committed.

Built from experience. Backed by results.

Acadia Canine Academy is rooted in Meteghan, Nova Scotia — a small community on the French Shore where working dogs and family pets are part of everyday life. Our approach to obedience training is straightforward: clear communication, consistent technique, and a genuine understanding of how dogs think and learn.

Training isn't just a service here — it's a discipline. Every program is designed to produce dogs that are calm, focused, and reliable in the real world, not just in a controlled environment. We work with families who want more than a dog that sits on command — they want a dog they can trust.

Four published guides cover puppy development, canine rehabilitation, training older dogs, and general obedience — practical resources for owners at every stage.
